I've taken the recent downtime as an opportunity to upgrade our mumble server. We're now running 1.2.0 Beta 1, which is incompatible with previous versions.

This past Sunday afternoon, the server that DontCamp.com built and that has been hosting this site and many game servers, bit the dust.

When we opened up the guy there was a CPU fan no longer attached to its motor and some of the capacitors were bulging and leaking. The motherboard is definitely not reliable anymore.

For the moment, we've taken the HDDs from that server and booted them up on another box connected up to my office network. This site is running off that for now.

I've got some pictures and a more detailed story that I plan to share in the coming days, but I'm going to spend my time until then focusing on getting everything up and running in whatever permanent state we end up deciding on.

This site isn't going away.

The gifting process is extremely easy and works great. Four of us simply used Paypal to send payments to the one who purchased the 4-pack and within 5 min had already "bought" the game. Now we're simply waiting until release time.
