Nice.

Beta users are already hooking up and playing without BNet, so here's hoping Blizz falls flat on their face with this and goes back to making a useful service.

Yeah what happened? BNet was kick ass. If it's not broken, don't fucking fix it.

This was obviously unanticipated. I think they figured more people would have been put off about requiring an internet connection and didn't figure on this much traffic.
