I actually did get banned last Saturday. For "using cheat programs in PlanetSide 2".

Man was I pissed especially since it was absolutely not true. I payed a membership as well as some SC in this account, so I'm not going to risk having my account banned for anything.

Here's what happened.
I was driving my Flash around Deepcore Geolab next to the vehicle ammo dispenser and someone ran me over by mistake with his Lightning. Then, somebody revived me. As I got back in game, I found myself glitched by running very fast. Faster than any other vehicle in game. I tried to find my flash and I couldn't see it anywhere. Don't ask me how it happened, I have no clue. I proceeded to go towards Heyoka North Gate and went along south of the road going to Kwahtee Fortress. As I was going though the hills, the fast running glitch made me launch in the air and I died as a result.

The SOE team saw that in their logs and thought I cheated. I pleaded my case to them explaining everything, and without much hope, they released my account!

Kudos to SOE for hearing my case and releasing my account quite quickly, even if they should have checked better before permanently banning a members account.

I'm telling this to you guys so that it doesn't happen to you. If you find yourself bugged/glitched, ask a GM in game and take videos and pictures, because SOE won't take this lightly. As I have learned the hard way!

That's great your account back! Whenever something crazy happens I hit the record button...especially when I fall under the terrain!
