Forget weapon recoil control. Forget strategy. Forget learning a "pro" kit. Watch this one video and remember its lessons.

Thanks for posting this, Wabbit...it's a real eyeopener for me.
As I've said before, my last appreciable time in a Battlefield game was DC, which was much more run & gun than later iterations. It's been a real challenge to make myself think like a soldier again. Situational awareness, tactical movement, and squad work are so much more important now than they were then. _________________ DTC Meetings in TeamSpeak 7:30 pm EST Thursdays. Be there!

BF4 is slower paced than BF3. Being more deliberate in your actions in BF4 will usually be a better decision than a run and gun Quake style of play. |

The run and gun thing is I think what I am having the toughest time with. I need to slow down and treat it like more of a life situation than just running and finding something to shoot. |

To that end, the more you stay alive the more targets you will find to shoot. It's a little counter intuitive that slowing down your movement and being deliberate in your actions will actually increase your kills/score. Consider all the wasted time you spend on the deploy screen... |
