I've got a 256GB OCZ Vertex 4. It is my primary drive running my Win8 install, BF4, PS2, CS:GO, KSP.

Not only can you choose where to save your Shadowplay videos, but you can now choose the temporary location of those videos. I'd recommend using a second HDD or SSD.

I'll be using a 480 gig ssd. I currently save my Shadows to a raid 0/1. It's been working pretty well.

Hopefully I'll order some new parts next week!

I've got a 6TB RAID 10 right now, but I'm looking into SSD. I just saw an article this morning about 8 & 16TB SSDs arriving by year's end. If I can find it again, I'll update with a link.

EDIT: Found it.

I don't know anything about Crucial. The Intel SSD's have been our go-to drives for laptops at work and they are very reliable. My OCZ Vertex 4 was listed as one of the fastest out there. Unfortunately, I think OCZ is no more and these drives are now over $500 for a 256GB (I didn't pay nearly that amount for mine).

I have been using a Crucial 256 gig for over a year with no problems, a good, solid drive for the buck.

I'm running a Crucial M4 128GB for my OS drive. I was going to get the OCZ Vertex but saw the writing on the wall about the stability of the company and went with Crucial instead.

I love the drive, but 128GB is a little too small for Windows plus my Origin game folder (50GB). It fits, but last time I had a game installed on there (Steam) the installed size kept growing and it starting being a hassle. Plus with every DLC running 5Gig these days things just fill up quick.

I also found out that my slow internet (especially my crappy 300k upstream) is the limiting factor slowing down my server loads. E.g. the SSD isn't any faster loading BF4 than from my 1TB conventional drive. Sad

So I'm looking into a 500GB SSD just for my games. I like keeping the OS on its own drive so I can reinstall less painfully. I've heard good things about the Samsung drives as well.
