Consequently, trying to learn to dogfight in BF4 by playing Air Superiority is a lot like handing a baby a gun in WW2 and throwing them at the front lines....
...there's a lot of crying and poop involved. _________________ [MTL]Mortis - "No one says you have to fight a war with your pants on..."

I hate flying in BF as well. Right after China Rising came out, i hit AS for achievements and I found as long as you're not the lead jet in an engagement, you usually end up with at least one kill... unless you're against pros. I fly with mouse and KB though. I still won't fly if Wabbit is in the air. _________________ Anyone seen my banstick?

Frankie and tjunfisk are great. I would try to focus on finding some vids of BF4 with some of the most recent patches. Some of the third-person flying techniques have changed since he launch of the game.
Using a mouse and keyboard is a must if you hope to stay alive in the air. Bind your space bar to pull up your jet. That is the hardest thing to get used to. Basically your space bar is used for gross elevator movements and you'll use your mouse for fine tuning. |
