| just downloaded arma 3 its on sale this weekend for half the price 30 dollars. Wanted to see who wanted to join see me on dontcamp teamspeak maybe we can get a arma 3 teamspeak going thanks guys later jim |

It's weird that ARMA3 is pretty much designed around the Dontcamp way of playing things as a team, but yet there is something missing that stops this happening. Does it require to many people? are the maps top big?
what is it? as i thought the Dontcamp folks would love the ARMA games.] |

We used to run an Arma2 server for a little while. Arma is a great simulator but is a horrible game. To get teh most out of it, you really do need a lot of people to play seriously. Additionally, you need a lot of Mods. The maps are huge, the only thing larger may be Planetside.
To really give Arma a chance I would need to invest a fair amount of time for it. When we ran Arma2, we did not have a Battelfield server so we could devote plenty of time to it. I had a blast using Track IR in the aircraft, it was a lot of fun.
Arma is definitely not a casual experience. Your movement needs to be slow and extremely deliberate when compared to a game like BF4.

One of my coworkers has a leadership position with this group. They are very knowledgeable about setting up mods. They also take the game seriously and follow a strong military structure in their gameplay. |
