Any thoughts on this game? I like the WW1 aspect and am gearing up to play. _________________

Tried the demo, not impressed. I'll wait for the next "EA" money pit to come out. _________________

I played the first beta thing. It looked great, even not in DX12. It ran great too. I like some of the game play and weapon mechanic changes they've made. More so that they are trying some new things than what they are actually doing. Things like the LMGs bullet spread gets smaller the longer you fire.
I'm just not into WWI enough to pay full price for this game. I know some of you will scoff at this and say that there are plenty of automatic weapons and therefore isn't a true WWI shooter. Fine, I'm also not that into WWII shooters. There, are you happy NT?
I am planning on picking this up when it reaches the $30 range.
All that said, my hope is that BF1 will be somewhat a development platform for BF5, which I hope will be a more modern genre. I'm not saying that BF1 will have bugs, but it will give them a chance to learn something on their revised engine etc.
Feel free to use the DontCamp Teamspeak server if you need it! |

Mach 2 jets and assault rifles are where I start to get interested in war things. And this game has neither. |
