| I have not been able to confirm this but it appears that L4D2 was released early this morning via Steam. My source is merely the myriad of posts about the full game that started popping up on the official forums early this morning. |

I had a problem when starting steam this evening. It continually scanned for game updates. I'm not sure if this was the cause or not, but the steam service wasn't actually running. Enabling this instantly brought up my games list and within 3 sec L4D2 was ready to play.
This looks fraking awesome. |

| Preloaded sunday night, haven't been home since it released. I plan to try it tomorrow starting in the afternoon until I get bored or there's no more zombies to kill. |

| It is awesome! In my opinion, its well worth the money. It is certainly more than just a refresh of the original. The game play is different and more satisfying. |

Haha Butter! Front page quote material there. Started steam today, and watched as it got stuck on the logging in window and the hdd light freaked out for a few minutes, then finally opened the main window. Whatever L4d2 needed to do, I've never seen steam do that before.
Getting ready to check it out tonight. |
