What are your preffered loadouts for vehicles, Mainly the Heavy armour (Tanks and LMV's) and the Attack boats.
I have just started using the TOW missile on the Attack boat but i find it hard to stay on target in choppy water, id like something that locks on but do i have to sacrifice damage stats to do this?
Also, i have yet to unlock the TV Missile, is this worth equippinig? |

The TV missile is powerful...but needs lots of practicing. On the boat I run either main gun option and passive radar for the 2nd gun to take out helicopters. I like thermal also so I can see everyone. |

It's realllly hard not having zoom. I love the zoom! I think that load out is really good for paracel storm. Since you can see everyone on the islands with thermal and you can shoot down all the choppers with ease...just make sure boats don't get a jump on you. |

APS on everything that can use it!
MBT: HE SHell, Coax HMG, Active Protection, IRNV, Reactive Armor
IFV: 25MM HE, TOW, Active Protection, Zoom, Reactive Armor
25MM cannon because splash > infantry. I've never had projectile speed be an issue.
Mobile AA: 30MM Cannon, Active Radar, Active Protection, Zoom, Reactive Armor
Attack Boat: 30MM Cannon, TV Missile, Active Protection, Zoom, Belt Feeder
Depending on the map and who i'm fighting against, I swap between the ToW and TV. If I always have LoS to my targets, I'll go Tow since you can continue to steer the boat. Joe tends to run Anti-air more. I run Anti-armor/boat.
Notes:
Unlike BF3, the MBT Cannister shell and the primary gun share a cooldown.
Reactive armor doesn't block hits. It makes it so hits against you require a higher damage to count as a crit.
Active Protection (APS) is a 180 degree anti-projectile system. When activated, it destroys any incoming projectile (tank shell, tow, ifv main gun, even bombs) a few feet in front of you. It only lasts maybe 5 seconds then enters a 30 second+ cooldown phase before it can be used again.
Passive Radar (mobile AA, Attack Boat, IGLA) Anti-air missile that requires you to maintain lock on the target until it hits. If the target flares, and you can regain lock on the primary target before the missile is too far away, the missile will track back and hit. The HVM-II works the same way, but it launches 3 missiles at once and can lock both ground and air.
Active Radar (mobile AA) Dumbfire Anti-air missiles with a twist. Once within 100-200 feet of any enemy aircraft (don't know exact range), these autotarget and track. This gives them less warning than a stinger/passive radar. They don't even require LoS. You just need to lead your target. _________________ Anyone seen my banstick?

As an LAV whore I agree with this loadout but I prefer the IR scope over zoom. Superior dorito detection! |
