I have a new (old) cable modem.
I was hoping the replacement would be a Docsis 3 modem, but it's another Docsis 2. It's the TM502G/CT.
Anywho, I'm on line and my BF1942 server is up. |

I think were talking about two different games. There is a new BF1942 that will only run on the servers owned by EA Games. In order to play that game you must rent one of the EA Games servers. I'm sorry, I have no interest in playing the new BF1942 at this point. The game I play several nights a week is the original BF1942 and mods thereof.
So, if you're looking for a place to play the original, please join us. The BF 1942 SERVER is at 74.91.115.222:14567 and the teamspeak 3 server is at 74.91.115.222:9987. |

I was looking for an easy way out of trying to find my 2nd BF1942 cd.I found the 1st disk and Key.I will continue to search for the other disk while I play coop DC Final. There are a 2 good coop servers.
I wish BF1942 could be installed Pre-patched like the one on Origin. It took less than 5 minutes to DL and Install.
What patches do I need for 1942 and DC?
OH Sweet I see you have ISO files of both Disks. Thanks a bunch.LOL I found a DVD with 1942,road to Rome and Secret Weapons with no cd crack.SWEET now all I need to do is patch it up. |

For those of you who keep asking me "J.R., whats the name of that map, you know, the one with trees, and buildings, and some tanks... you know the one I mean..."
here is a list of the maps currently in the blue rotation with some helpful screens shots. I'll post the red rotation when I get around to it.

Are any of you guys who wanted to play BF1942 or any mod thereof, such as DC-Final, still out there? AceofSpades, Finger, Remington Ratt, [DCpC]Maj.Death, anyone else???
There is a group of us who play almost every night starting around 20:00 eastern time, USA. (1:00 GMT).
Everything you need, (patches, mods, patches for mods) are mirrored here.
http://73.143.32.28
(Please don't be overwhelmed by the number of mods available. Most people don't have all of them install. Some people have none of them. We always do our best to vote to maps in the rotation that keep everyone currently connected in game.)
Please feel free to PM me or post here if you want to install anything to do with BF-1942 and/or play with us. I'll gladly help in any way I can with installation, including a hand held, walk through, if need be, (including a free installation of Windows 10 Insider Preview if need be.)
Both our BF1942 server and our TeamSpeak 3 server are at: 74.91.115.222
PS. We play COOP only. All the humans on one side, all the bots on the other side. It's very friendly team-play only. We only play maps that can be annihilated, that is, the bots never have a permanent home base. There are generally only a hand full of humans and a ton of bots. (as many bots as it takes to make the maps doable, but difficult.)
PPS. Once we've capped all the flags and killed all the bots and the tickets are counting down rapidly, we, of course, turn on one another and have a TK fest until the map is over (generally less than 1 minute) (Some have suggest the TK fest should be knives only, but that idea never caught on.) Even the TK fest is meant to be friendly. We're all on the same TeamSpeak server and we're all celebrating our the victory over the bots. |

I really like your server. Because there are lot of mods online. Disadvantage is the rule, all play on blue against the bots. If i enter your server i have no chance against all the bots. As result i have search an another place to play. Is there a chance to balance the server with the bots ration? We could balance it on both side? Like on the hslan Eve of Destruction Mod Server for example. This solution makes lot of fun. If do you have 10 people on your COOP Server you can keep fight 5vs5 included 27vs27 bots on a 64 Slot Server at your side?
What do you think buddies?

First of all, thank you for noticing the server, playing on it, and commenting here!
My friends and I most often play from 9pm ET to 11pm ET.
If we have more than a few players we'll keep playing later than that.
We all use TeamSpeak3 and our TeamSpeak3 server is at 74.91.115.222
That's the same ip address as our BF1942 server.
TeamSpeak3 can be downloaded here:
https://www.teamspeak.com/downloads
If you are looking to download any of the mods we play they are all mirrored here:
http://73.143.32.28
We play coop, all humans and no bots on one side, all bots and no humans on the other side (and lots more bots than humans).
We only play maps where the bot team has all takable bases. That is, on each and every map, the human objective is to take and hold all the flags at least grey, and annihilate all the bots, to achieve the fast-ticket-count-down ending. This allows us to put the ticket count at the max and the timer is off. This way maps don't ever seem to linger beyond their usefulness, nor suddenly end when it was just getting good. You can see how the map is progressing and you know what it takes to end the map. If we have just a few humans we vote to smaller maps with fewer flags. If we have more humans we vote to larger maps with more flags.
There are two reasons we play this way:
1) Lack of players (we're talking a 15 year old game, here)
We tend to get three or four human players each night. Sometimes more for short periods of time as the night goes on. I've never seen more than ten human players, not even for an instant. With so few humans most of the time it is difficult to choose a set of server parameters that are sustainably fun over the full course of the evening, night after night.
2) Teamplay
I enjoy teamplay. The people I play with enjoy team play. We all tend to be on Teamspeak and there is good game chatter. I find playing a few number of humans against lots of bots forces teamplay. You can't be effective taking and holding all the flags when you are outnumbered unless you work as a team. On the other hand, if we played the same number of bots on each team with one or two humans scattered among the bots on each team, I find this set up discourages team play and encourages loan wolf behaviors. (I mean, come on, in this case, your teammates are almost all bots, how can you practice teamplay? )
Having said all that, please join us on Teamspeak. I am often willing to humor the new guy with temporary changes to server parameters. And you just might enjoy our server, as is, with a few more humans to help you. |

Thank you for your fast answer.Indeed. If we 4 people maybe more, it could be possible together win again the bots. But at the empty times we could think about to balanced it? But its your choice. If its bet on and i see you i will connect your server next time. I have see in your Download Pool only two Mods out of date FHSW 0.552 is the actually and Battlegroup42, next RC2 release soon for included COOP.
There is a cool Desert Combat Mod, its like an update we ever have wish. The name is SuperDC v2.06, it brings the best of the Desert Combat series together. But i have found no server files. Only the mod files "3,9GB" which release last month. _________________ Woody Woodpecker says: no! Trees are for climbing, not hugging you sissies! |

Right,
We don't play FHSW anymore because it dropped COOP support somewhere between 0.41 and 0.552.
We are also waiting for COOP support in BG42 RC2.
I'll take a look at SuperDC v2.06 later this week when I have more time. |

I've been testing SuperDC v2.06 maps on my server.
I'm going through the maps in alphabetical order.
I've gotten to and through Omaha Beach.
I've only found two maps playable given our play style as stated above, namely Basra and Cassino.
Here are some of the issues which have eliminated SuperDC maps from my rotation (and may end up eliminating this mod from my server)
1) One or more untakable main bases for both sides. We play only maps where at least one side can annihilate the other to a fast ticket countdown.
2) Buggy, lots of the maps cause the server to crash to desktop and/or cause the clients to crash to desktop.
3) Bots can spawn in vehicles and/or gun emplacements even if all of their flags are taken. This is the most annoying bug of them all. There are lots of great maps we'd love to play, such as Mimoyecques, if it weren't for the fact that red bots can spawn in gun emplacements even after blue has taken all the flags.
I'll keep going through the maps tomorrow, but at this rate, the mod is barely worth the disk space it takes up. |

Last night a hand full of us got together and tried out the new SuperDC 2.06 Mod. There were a total of 7 human players and the same number of bots on the other team. We played a rotation of Basra, Cassino, Comrade Sniper and Mimoyecques. The server crashed once or twice during the maps, but the client crashes were pretty constant. As much as we enjoyed the new weaponry we couldn't stand the constant crashing. We went back to playing other mods and have not returned. |
