Dornogan and Buffstud have had issues with this. Give this potential fix a try:

This happened to me last night. I can confirm that switching loadouts works, even if you just switch, save, then go back to the original loadout and save again.

That's good to know...seems a lot of people are crashing and it's nice to help them out when they play on our server.
