I really do suck at this game!!!
If you look at my KDR, It's about 0.5 possibly even lower.
I really dont know what it is, people just kill me first in firefights, even when im fireing at them at the same time.
It has been very frustrating constantly getting killed but im trying to perserveer. But sometimes its just not fun playing.
I have a few ideas though.
1: I think i need to find a good balanced weapon and attatchment setup that i can use on all maps. One which will serve me in CQ and medium distances. That way I will get used to its subtle fireing patterns. Hopefully then i will be able to kill more infantry.
2: Time Armour shots better. A lot of the time, ill send 2 Sraws into a Tank, only for somebody to fire the 3rd and get the kill, the ammount of kill assists i get is way too high.
3: Take more time, stop running around, be more mindfull with my movements and think about where i am standing.
I do seem to suffer from the ping difference aswell, having a Ping of 110 - 120. Many a time i have fired tank shells at infantry and got a hit marker, but no kill. However when its the other way around, i die instantly!!.
Mounted guns such as mobile AA and tank gunners seem to do the same, i can get multiple hits on people but they just dont die, It cant be my aim as im hitting them (according to my pc) Maybe its the shit netcode? i dont know.
So yeah, I know im bad at this game, finishing in the bottom half of the table every round. So thanks for putting up with that. I know we, as a community are not about scores or KDR's and thats the reason im still here 10 years later but it would be nice to see a [DC] tagged admin getting better scores, IMO.
Peace.
P.S. Please can you tell me which gun is the best all rounder and what accessorys to use on it. (I like the engineer class) |

Dear Dan,
I'm sorry to hear of your Battelfield woes and seek to help you find the light. To get an idea of what may work for you, what weapons are you currently using the most that also appear not to be working for you? |

Well, when we were running the Infantry only maps, i found a shotgun was very handy, but obviously shotguns are not a distance weapon.
At the moment i am giving the SR-2 a go it seems to be quite effective at close to medium ranges with hip fire, but being a PDW, i think it will suffer against a Carbine.
The Carbines i tend to use the most are AK 5C, ACW-R and the ACE 52 CQB. I cant really decide which is better. I have unlocked upto and including the M4 and am very close to unlocking the ACE 21 CQB. |

Personally, I think you're awesome, regardless of score or K/D. Wabbit has helped me a TON with this game, listen well when he gives advice. The hard part is implimenting it _________________ DTC Meetings in TeamSpeak 7:30 pm EST Thursdays. Be there!

Here is what I propose. In lieu of a long winded written response I think we need to do some live gameplay training. This will go for anyone, not just Dan: I'd like to have us stick as close together as possible. I'll be able to closely observe your gameplay and you will be able to observe mine. We'll check if we're burst firing appropriately for the weapon and engagement ranges. With each death we can quickly determine what got us killed and hopefully learn from the experience.
We're going to pick the most contested point and poke the zerg but we're going to do it very carefully. We're going to avoid spawning into a shit storm and instead, we'll be fighting from the edges of the battle and work our way carefully and methodically into flag radius.
This does not mean we will move slowly and lazily. Shit gonna be intense.
We may lose rounds doing this but I think the experience will be worth it. I also think this could turn out to be hellafun. |

Shoulder surgery recovery is going to take a bit longer than anticipated so I won't be able to join you guys for a few weeks. |
