Something we should strive for is to fully utilize team resources (armor in particular). Having a single tank at the objective can make a huge difference in taking a flag. It doesn't matter if you consider yourself a "tank driver" or not, grab that unused vehicle in the main as soon as it spawns and bring it to the fight. Don't get infantry tunnel vision. |

Funny you should mention that. I've noticed that players do not use the resources that are provided like the tanks or armored vehicles.
Seems everyone wants to use the flying assets but no one uses the armor. |

I'd also like to see more repair guy + armor teams that employ a "careful" playstyle to stay online and support the rest of the squad. If you've got armor running with your formation you might not need to do the full squad of engineers thing like we usually have to do on conquest.
Wouldn't it be great to have regular ammo/medic guys in a given squad? |

I know a lot of people hate this tactic...
But, sitting back with a tank while your squad moves in and spotting infantry and providing covering fire is devastating. I like to park maybe 100 meters out where the heavy machine gun will kill in a second or two and just spot and kill while the rest of the squad secures the point. |

What's to hate? Helps the team and the points flow in. _________________ Anyone seen my banstick?

I have a suggestion / request: I keep trying to get my tank kills for the Phantom Assignment. I wonder if on a weekend you set up your server for 16 players with the Golmund Railway map and make it tank only. Try to see if that might be a good map for tank wars. _________________ Jett |

All the maps in our rotation, save for Mortar, have tanks. Getting kills should be a snap without having to modify map rotation or rules. _________________ DTC Meetings in TeamSpeak 7:30 pm EST Thursdays. Be there!

I'm willing to do impromptu tank training on TS for anyone interested. I've been spending a ton of time in tanks recently due to lack of resourcefulness on the part of my team. |
