Hey all,

I've been tracking our seeding progress a bit, and while we've been doing great for the last several weeks, it appears that things have dropped off a bit this week.

If you are able to help seed overnight or during the day, I'd greatly appreciate it.

See this post for the dirt-simple instructions on how to participate in seeding the server. I can personally attest to the fact that running BF while doing other things is about 99.5% unobtrusive. The BF window pops up for a split second every few minutes, but doesn't ever seem to interfere with my workflow.

If you have any questions, just let me know.

Soon I hope, they took the sling and bicep wrap off and now I have to learn how to use it again and build up the muscles so I can lift my arm.

The idle timer is a thing of the past. Forget the silly Autohotkey script. Just join the server and minimize. I updated the "easy server seeding" post.

Server took a dump last night and had to reset.

Wrabbit still racked up 40+ kills with only 2 other people,WHO SHALL REMAIN NAMELESS, on after it came back up.

Ain't no thang, it was fun anyway. When it's just a couple of us like that, I don't feel any pressure to PTFO, so I relax and have fun. Now to figure out how to channel that same Zen into actual gameplay Wink

Back to the topic. The big issue we're having now is seeding during dinner time on the East coast. The hours between 6PM to 9PM are pretty light and having as many seeders on during that time would be extremely helpful.

Now that the Idle timer is set to 24 hours, anyone can seed! Just start your game and then minimize it.

Is it my imagination, or did they reimplement the idle kick? For the last couple of days I've awoken to find myself kicked for being idle.

It may be time to fire up bf4-seeder.exe again.

Calvis, I just checked the server and it is set to 24hour idle timer.

If you're leaving your computer un-attended the bf4-seeder.exe is good because it will restart itself if the game crashes. It'll also restart itself if you were kicked because the server was actually full once space is available.

if you saw the "GTFO" message, that was a specific plugin kicking you because the server was full.

I was idling on sunday while I was working moving numbers around in excel for work and I got kicked. Mostly empty server. Error message was specifically idle too long.

Sorry guys, NT corrected me. NT's auto-hotkey script, the bf4seeder thing will not rejoin.

We've been using a Battlefield seeder provided by Pure Battlefield that has the auto re-join features.

Wabbit, the times I was kicked, I got the same message Mortis got, and my score was zero. At least it should have been, as I was not present at the PC when it occurred.
