So Mortis suggested I try a JTF2 Loadout of an M4 and P226. This worked very well tonight with 200+ kills.

I have unlocked all battlepacks for Assault Rifles and Carbines as well as most of the LMGs and several PDWs. I'm looking for ideas, similar to those various Loadout Youtube series. I found it very cool running a kit I had not thought about. So, what should I try next?

Maybe we pick a Dontcamp loadout for a week and we all give it a try.

Would be great on CTF or Chainlink when we're in the "backfield".

Agreed. I love the ACWR suppressed as support. You gottaaaa have support, because you need to lay in the whole magazine. It's the only safe way.

Primary: G36 with Suppressor, vertical grip, laser of your choosing.
Secondary: suppressed pistol of your choosing.
Kit: Recon with C4 and claymores (as I'm sure you'd get bitched at for running support w/ C4 and claymores)
On maps with lots of vehicles, the claymores can be exchanged for a target painting gadget of your choosing.

Dear God was that a shitty loadout! I honestly had been a fan of the G36 prior to this loadout but I had used an ACOG.

The G36 gets a bad rap. It has the carbine damage model, meaning that up close, it is the same as the assault rifle, but the damage quickly drops off. Carbines, in general, are for closer engagements than assault rifles. They also provide better hip fire capabilities. The G36 does not have a great rate of fire, making it not great in close quarters. It also does not have especially good hip fire.

So, low damage, low rate of fire, average hip fire. Sounds like a loser. The secret in the G36 is in its accuracy and recoil patter. Compared to other carbines, it has the lowest first shot recoil value of any carbine, lowest combined recoil values, and its spread increase per shot is also the lowest. This last value is of importance. This means you can fire longer bursts before you lose too much accuracy. That fact helps compensate for the lower rate of fire. The low spread and low recoil combine to make it controllable and accurate at range. It is super easy to keep a G36 with a magnified optic on target. Makes headshots easy.

So if you're looking for an easily controlled carbine, give the G36 a try.
