Seems like doing the daily missions (primarily winning a match on each mode) + whatever missions are in the notification area is the best way to get game cash.
So a new patch came out today with a new merc named Phantom. Unless there's a counter which I'm missing, Phantom is really OP. Like the Spy in TF2 except there's no Pyros and he can just facestab your whole team. Shit. |

Played against a ton of Phantoms tonight. So far, they're not all that.
1. The cloak isn't purely invisible, you see a haze moving when they're cloaked.
2. The cloak makes a very distinct humming noise that is very, very noticeable.
3. I personally pretty much wtfpwnt all of them with shotguns to the face while backing up. Oh and that's with Proxy who is supposed to be the absolute worst merc against Phantom.

Not even remotely. If you were in a competitive team, yes you'd be spending money to get the best loadouts possible from the get go, but that's like saying BF4 is pay to win. Even a Rank 1 Private can come up and stab you in the throat.
I am relatively suck at the game, and yes it's possible to get "owned" but that's more teamwork based rather than individual skill.
Rhino + Medic Healing Station and Nader backing him up makes for some impressive area denial
